Thank you for your interest in filming or photography at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. We receive a high volume of requests. Applications submitted months in advance of the desired filming date have the best chances of success.
Before you apply, please note:
- The Museum is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., from May 15 – September 1. From September 2 – May 14, hours of operation are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and the Museum is closed on Mondays, except holiday Mondays.
- All filming and photography requests undergo a review and approvals process with the Government of Alberta that can take three to six weeks to complete.
- All filming requests are subject to fees regulated by the Government of Alberta.
- All parties interested in filming/photography at the Museum must have $2,000,000 in liability insurance.
