Join the Royal Tyrrell Museum on Easter Weekend, March 25 - March 27, for a variety of creative, fun, and educational programs that will bring the prehistoric past to life.
The Museum is also open on Easter Monday, March 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. however, programs will not be available.
Be sure to participate in our Dinosaur Egg Hunt! Simply write down the locations of the hidden eggs throughout the Museum's galleries then turn your sheet in for a fun Easter prize. Full details available at the Visitor Services Desk in the Lobby.

Dinosaur Egg Hunt – 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (in the galleries) FREE! All ages
*Spot the dinosaur eggs hidden throughout the galleries! Pick up an activity sheet from a Science Educator at the beginning of the galleries or Admissions staff at the Visitor Services Desk and start hunting. Return your completed sheet to a staff member at the same location that you picked it up at to claim your prize.
Storytime – 12:15 p.m. FREE! (1st floor – by the Ceratopsians Exhibit)
Fossil Casting – 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. ($10/person) Ages 4+, 45 minutes
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paid adult also registered in the program.
Passion for the Past – 11:00.a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
The Inside Story – 11:30a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
Free auditorium video presentations running throughout the day from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
