EventsCelebrate 25 Years

Alberta Premier Peter Lougheed officially opened the doors of the Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in 1985 to a crowd of 5,000 visitors. Now, 25 years and 10 million visitors later, the Royal Tyrrell Museum marks a major milestone.

Join us on Saturday, September 25 as we celebrate our 25th anniversary with a day of fun activities, special presentations with some honoured guests, and tours.

Oh, and free admission too!
